Eating foods that not only clean your cells but actually lower their cytokine response can diminish cellular inflammation up to 40%. It is the first major step to removing as many sources of toxins as realistically possible, healing the bi-lipid layer, and turning weight loss into a non-issue.
The Healing Diet requires you to change three major areas of your diet:
- Stop eating processed and grain-fed meats. Eat only grass-fed beef, free-range poultry and eggs, and cold-water fish not exposed to mercury or antibiotics.
- Stop eating low-saturated fats including corn oil, margarine, and Canola oil. Eat only healthy mono-saturated and saturated fats including coconut oil, olive oil, grape seed oil, and organic butter, depending on their heat-sensitive application.
- Eliminate all forms of sugar and carbohydrates: No sugars or carbohydrates until your body is sufficiently healed to handle the glycemic (sugar) load while burning fat. (Xylitol is a good sweetener substitute.)
